The Difference Now on FM Radio

Difference WEB

What's up folks?

What a bananas weekend in Philly. From the Ladies of Hip Hop Festivities to the Popped Festival, to Mojito and Sundae at the Bubble House, I had my fix and then some from Wednesday to Sunday.

Now we continue the fun as we bring our world famous Difference show to FM Radio. It's the first place on the dial which should make it easier to remember and you can access it best in West Philly and it's surrounding areas. We've been rocking new flavors for our dedicated listeners since 2003 and recently upgraded our Real Media stream to an enhanced podcast on iTunes in which you can now view the song details, artwork and web info for each artist/song played. You'll still be able to access our podcasts but for those of you fortunate enough to live in the Philadelphia area and can get WPEB on your radio, you can now enjoy an extended 3 hour version of the live show with the illvibe Collective and guests. Stay tuned in as we bring things to a new level.

Peace

Statik

It features two of our favorite mcs Bahamadia and Ethel Cee, who are both going to destroy it without a doubt. Holding it down on the wheels and supporting their respective mcs is Dj Statik and DJ Ultraviolet. Go ladies!

Also, catch DJ Statik this Thursday playing jams for the ladies on the rooftop of the South Street Whole Foods. It's all part of the Fe:male Hip-Hop Dance Battle. Should be dope!

"THE DJ IS DEAD"???

So we have the pleasure of being comrads with most of the important DJ crews around the country. One of those crews that is absolutely killing it right now is The Aphilliates in Atlanta. Our Aphiliate homie, DJ Jamad always keeps us in the loop of what's happening in the crazy world of Atlanta and one of the emails I came across this morning was about Jermaine Dupri's outrageous remarks about the DJ being over. First of all, the guy is not really making any sense. Second of all, it's apparent he's making a blanket statement because of a bad experience that he doesn't seem to want to talk specifically about. You can watch it for yourself here...

We will reply by saying simply, "shut the hell up..." Please beware of these so called heroes in music getting on the internet and saying the first thing that comes to mind. the public, unfortunately, is easily influenced and believe what they hear without thinking about any of it critically.

Now, with that said, you can catch me in New York City tonight at the Knitting Factory alongside Hezekiah, Black Sheep, and others... Don't miss it, if you're in the area. It doesn't happen very often.

Peace and The DJ is Not Dead Folks!
