Happy Birthday Fela Kuti!

Today October 15th is the birthday of the original black president Fela Kuti. People all over the world are celebrating his afrobeat sound and the amazing musical legacy he has left behide.

In Philly, the celebration is going down at the Candyland party which goes on at the Arts Garage with DJ lil'dave on the turntables. It's all party of the nation-wide FELABRATION.

We are hurt by the news of Michael Jackson's passing. He is without a doubt one of our favorite music artists. He is the single greatest pop music phenomenon that the world has every seen and probably will ever see. We will miss you Mike!
